Veronica Elders, MBA, MSN, RN
Elders joined Nashville General Hospital in August of 2015. Prior to becoming the Chief Nursing Officer, she served in a variety of leadership roles including Director of Emergency Services, Administrative Director of Patient Throughput, and Assistant Chief Nursing Officer. Before joining Nashville General Hospital, Elders served 17 years at Vanderbilt University Medical Center and Monroe Carell Jr. Children’s Hospital at Vanderbilt. A Nashville native, Elders earned her MBA in Healthcare from Western Governors University. She also holds a Master of Nursing degree from Loyola University New Orleans, and serves as an Adjunct Faculty in the Master of Nursing Program at Western Governors University.
